How to identify a rat problem
Rats are most active during the night therefore it is often easier to spot the signs of a rat infestation than the actual rat. Some of the signs may include droppings which are dark brown like a grain of rice.  You might notice gnaw marks on wires or cabling. Grease and dirt on their bodies leave smudges and dark marks on both objects and surfaces.
